The written word is my first, my only love. With my trifecta of social abnormalities, low EQ, introversion and being a consummate loner, the written word has been my solace and educator in a world that has mostly been an enigma to me. I learned to read at a very early age and it would stand to reason that writing would be just as big a part of my life. I have written something every day of my life for the past 25 years. And for the past 10 I have been a published, freelance writer. My freelance career consisted of mostly ghost writing in the past or publishing under a pseudonym. However, since I’m no longer letting my fears and anxiety rule me, I’m working under my own name. With pride in my words and how far I’ve come in my personal struggles.
I live in Detroit, MI but have traveled whenever the opportunity presents itself. My adventures also helping to shape the person I am today.
This blog is about just that: things that have molded me into the woman I am, daily thoughts and struggles as I navigate a world that I don’t always understand, and vice versa, along with photographs and other artistic musings.
